Sunday is FAMILY DAY at the rodeo. Thanks to Subway, there is FREE admission to the rodeo performance for kids 15 and under.
Sunrise Credit Union Shoot Out Champion Sunday brings the best of the best! The top scoring competitors from the past two days come back for a chance to win! This is a performance you don’t want to miss!
Rodeo Slack
In large rodeos with numerous contestants, it’s not always possible to fit all the competitors into the main performance schedule. Slack allows these extra runs or rides—in all events—to take place on Saturday starting at 12:00 PM.
Contestants in slack are still competing for the same prizes, points, and standings as those in the main performances. While it may lack the big crowds and the evening spotlight, slack is a crucial part of the rodeo, giving every contestant a fair shot at showcasing their skills.
Slack can be a great opportunity to watch the action up close and in a more relaxed atmosphere – with FREE Admission!
Mutton Bustin'
Not familiar with Mutton Bustin’? Picture bull riding for kids – except instead of a bucking bull, it’s a fluffy, mildly confused sheep. It’s a crowd favorite and a highlight for many spectators during intermission each night.
Open to anyone ages 6 and under. Register at the main entrance each night 1.5 hours before the rodeo. First come first serve! 12-18 contestants per night. Helmets are provided.
